Serves 4
1. Melt the butter in a flame-proof dish and add the turmeric.
2. Stir over gentle heat for 1 minute then add the bananas and turn to coat with the butter.
3. Cover tightly with aluminium foil.
4. Place in the centre of an oven pre-heated to 180°C and cook for 30 minutes, or until the bananas are cooked through.
