Serves 4
1. Place the sesame seeds on a baking tray and toast in an oven pre-heated to 220°C for about 10 minutes.
2. Add the honey and butter to a small saucepan and heat over a medium-low flame until the mixture begins to bubble and starts to darken (about 5 minutes).
3. Stir the sesame seeds into the honey mixture and spread out some 5cm thick onto a buttered baking tray.
4. Allow to cool until just warm and cut into sticks.
5. Allow these to cool completely then serve.
