Serves 2-3
1. Pound the sesame seeds to a rough paste (or use a coffee grinder) and add a little water.
2. Sprinkle with the cornflour and work the mixture with your fingers until it’s stiff enough to work into small balls (add more cornflour as necessary).
3. Place the sesame balls in a red sauce.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally and very gently so that the sesame seed balls remain intact.
5. Serve over rice, pasta.
