Serves 4
1. Bring the 500ml water to a boil, add the rice, bring back to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
2. Drain the rice and set aside.
3. In the meantime, bring the milk to a boil in another pan.
4. Stir in the rice and cook for between 12 and 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
5. Take off the heat and stir in the powdered sugar and cinnamon.
6. Serve either hot or cold.
