Serves 4
1. Follow the instructions on the package to defrost the puff pastry and spread it out
2. Cut the pastry into large squares, with smaller squares indented about 1/4 in from the edges
3. Fold in each side of the squares so you end up with smaller squares with elevated edges, thus forming a nest
4. Fill the center of the nest with pineapple jam
5. Brush the edges of the nest with some egg wash prepared by adding a little bit of water to an egg yolk
6. Bake the tarts following the instructions on the pastry package, the edges should turn golden
