Gari biscuits
Serves 12-14
1. Add the gari to a bowl and sprinkle 120ml of water over the top.
2. Combine with the water, making certain that you break any lumps that form apart with a fork.
3. Meanwhile, cut the butter into the flour in a separate bowl until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
4. Add the baking powder, sugar, salt and gari to the flour mixture and combine well.
5. Form a well then mix the eggs and milk together and pour into the flour mixture.
6. Slowly combine the ingredients together to form a batter.
7. Drop the batter a tablespoon at a time onto a well-greased baking tray.
8. Place in an oven pre-heated to 180°C and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the tops are brown.
