Serves 4
1. Add the water to a pan and salt it lightly.
2. Bring to a boil then add the cassava and reduce to a simmer.
3. Cook for about 30 minutes, or until the cassava is tender.
4. Drain and place in a serving bowl.
5. Add the butter and onion and season to taste.
6. Toss to coat in the butter then serve.
